am i the only girl who doesn’t blow dry her hair?

i don’t. ever. it looks like shit. air drying is where it’s at. plus, blow dryers are just fucking loud & annoying.i doubt you’re the only girl. i know few girls who blow dry, it’s a waste of time and really unhealthy for your hair.
I don’t very often, but that’s because I usually wear my hair in a ponytail. But, if I want it to look halfway decent, it has to be blown out or flat-ironed or something damaging that involves high heat. Air drying is great for girls who have good hair. It’s not so great for people who have hair that is 1/3 very curly, 1/3 somewhere between wavy and straight, and 1/3 pure frizz. When I air dry my hair, the top is really flat and greasy looking and the bottom poofs out in a giant triangle of frizz and yuck. When I try to get it to stay curly for the whole day, by using a variety of different products to hold curl, the curl all falls out of about half of it after a few hours and just becomes a stringy tanlged mess. And no, I’ve yet to find any kind of product or shampoo or any specific method that makes it air dry the “right” way. It just doesn’t.
Girls who don’t need to blow dry their hair or iron it or use product drive me crazy. You don’t know how lucky you are that you can manage to look presentable without devoting at least half an hour to your hair or wearing it in a ponytail.
